HPSU Skillnet is an enterprise led training network of High Potential Start Up companies based in the Border, Midlands and Western region. A vibrant network of recently established companies, entrepreneurs avail of customised training that meet their specific needs. Being enterprise-led affords the member companies the opportunity to decide on Network direction and strategy. HPSU Skillnet is funded by a combination of the Training Network and member companies and can provide FETAC certification for its training. This allows subsidisation of training programmes for member companies. Its purpose is to increase the level of knowledge and skills of a broad variety of employees and afford them the opportunity to gain experience thereby developing competencies across the member companies.
 
The Training Networks Programme is an initiative of Skillnets Ltd. and is funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.
